Bashir, the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, reported. His name in the days of ignorance had been Zahm bin Mabad. When he migrated to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Messenger asked him, "What is your name?"He said, "Zahm."The Messenger said, "No, rather you are Bashir." So that became his name.He said, "While I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, 'Son of Khasasiyyah, what cause do you have to find fault with Allah ? You have woken up walking alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'"Abu Shayban, who is Aswad bin Shayban, said, "I think he said he was holding his hand."I said, "Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, I find no fault with Allah
in anything." Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith. And he said, "You there, with the two sandals, take off your sandals."
