I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a son of mine, and he asked, "Is this your son?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "He does not bear the consequences of your crimes, nor do you bear the consequences of his."

أتيت النبي ﷺ ومعي ابن لي فقال ابنك قال قلت نعم قال لا يجني عليك ولا تجني عليه
