Travelers would come to us from the direction of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we would ask them to recite to us. They would tell us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let the one among you who knows the most of the Quran lead you in prayer."

كانوا يأتونا الركبان من قبل رسول الله ﷺ فنستقرئهم فيحدثونا أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ليؤمكم أكثركم قرآنا
