A letter came to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but we could not find anyone able to read it to us until a man from Banu Dubayah read it. It was from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Bakr bin Waail, "Embrace Islam and you will be safe."
حدثنا يونس وحسين قالا ثنا شيبان عن قتادة قال وجدت
جاءنا كتاب من رسول الله ﷺ فما وجدنا له كاتبا يقرؤه علينا حتى قرأه رجل من بني ضبيعة من رسول الله ﷺ إلى بكر بن وائل أسلموا تسلموا
