Qays bin Asim reported,

At the time of his death, he instructed his children, saying, "Fear Allah , and place your eldest in authority. When a people place their eldest in authority, they continue the legacy of their father." He then mentioned the rest of the hadith, adding, "And when I die, do not wail over me, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not wailed over."

عن حكيم بن قيس بن عاصم عن أبيه

أنه أوصى ولده عند موته قال اتقوا الله عز وجل وسودوا أكبركم فإن القوم إذا سودوا أكبرهم خلفوا أباهم فذكر الحديث وإذا مت فلا تنوحوا علي فإن رسول الله ﷺ لم ينح عليه
