The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I was with him in Medina that day. He then mentioned the meaning of it.
حدثنا أبو سعيد مولى بني هاشم حدثنا وهيب حدثنا أيوب عن أبي قلابة
انكسفت الشمس على عهد رسول الله ﷺ وأنا يومئذ معه بالمدينة فذكر معناه
