The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that dogs be killed, then said, "What is the matter between you and dogs?" He then granted a permission regarding hunting dogs and sheepdogs. Concerning the vessel, he said, "When a dog laps from it, wash it seven times, and the eighth time scour it with dust."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر وبهز قالا ثنا شعبة عن أبي التياح قال سمعت مطرفا يحدث
أمر رسول الله ﷺ بقتل الكلاب ثم قال ما لكم وللكلاب ثم رخص في كلب الصيد والغنم وقال في الإناء إذا ولغ فيه الكلب اغسلوه سبع مرات وعفروه في الثامنة بالتراب
