I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the conquest of Mecca riding his she-camel, reciting Surah al-Fath. Ibn Mughafal recited it and drew out his voice in melodious recitation.Muawiya said, "Were it not for the people, I would have recited for you in the same melodious manner that Ibn Mughafal mentioned from the Prophet ﷺ."Bahz said in his version, "Or he carried him on his she-camel." He recited Surah al-Fath and drew out his voice in it.Abu Iyas said, "Were it not that I fear the people would gather around me, I would have drawn out my voice just as he did."
