Muhammad reported,

He mentioned a story in which he said that when Abdullah arrived, he was given the choice between thirty thousand and silver vessels, and he chose the vessels.Then merchants from Darin came, and he sold the vessels to them at a rate of ten for thirteen.Later he met Abu Bakrah and said, "Don't you see how I tricked them?"Abu Bakrah asked, "How?"He told him what had happened.Abu Bakrah said, "I urge you, indeed I insist that you return them, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid this kind of transaction."

فذكر قصة فيها قال فلما قدم خير عبد الله بين ثلاثين ألفا وبين آنية من فضة قال فاختار الآنية قال فقدم تجار من دارين فباعهم إياها العشرة ثلاثة عشرة ثم لقي أبا بكرة فقال ألم تر كيف خدعتهم قال كيف فذكر له ذلك قال عزمت عليك أو أقسمت عليك لتردنها فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ ينهى عن مثل هذا
