The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The two parents of the Dajjal will remain for thirty years without a child being born to them. Then a boy will be born to them who is the most harmful and the least beneficial of creatures. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ described his father, saying, "His father is a tall, lean man whose nose is like a beak, and his mother is a heavyset woman, tall, with long breasts."Abu Bakra said, We heard of a newborn boy born among the Jews in Madinah, so I and Zubayr bin Awwam went and entered upon his parents, and we found in them the description given by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.We asked, "Do you have a child?"They replied, "We remained for thirty years without a child being born to us, then a one-eyed boy was born to us, the most harmful and the least beneficial of creatures. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep."So we left them, and there was the boy lying wrapped in a velvet cloak in the sun, mumbling to himself. I uncovered his head, and he said, "What did you two say?"We said, "Did you hear us?"He answered, "Yes, indeed my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep."Hammad said, This was Ibn Sayyad.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا علي بن زيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يمكث أبوا الدجال ثلاثين عاما لا يولد لهما ولد ثم يولد لهما غلام أضر شيء وأقله نفعا تنام عيناه ولا ينام قلبه ثم نعت رسول الله ﷺ أباه فقال أبوه رجل طوال ضرب اللحم كأن أنفه منقار وأمه امرأة فرضاخية طويلة الثديين قال أبو بكرة فسمعنا بمولود ولد في اليهود بالمدينة فذهبت أنا والزبير بن العوام حتى دخلنا على أبويه فإذا نعت رسول الله ﷺ فيهما فقلنا هل لكما ولد فقالا مكثنا ثلاثين عاما لا يولد لنا ولد ثم ولد لنا غلام أعور أضر شيء وأقله نفعا تنام عيناه ولا ينام قلبه فخرجنا من عندهما فإذا الغلام منجدل في قطيفة في الشمس له همهمة قال فكشفت عن رأسه فقال ما قلتما قلنا وهل سمعت قال نعم إنه تنام عيناي ولا ينام قلبي قال حماد وهو ابن صياد
