Abu Bakra said that the people spoke a great deal about Musaylima the liar before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said anything about him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among the people, praised Allah as He deserves, and said, "As for what follows, this man whose affair you have spoken so much about is a liar, one of thirty liars who will come out before Dajjal. There is no land that the terror of the false messiah will not enter except Madinah. On each of its mountain passes that day there will be two angels driving the terror of the false messiah away from it."
