The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began the dawn prayer, then signaled to his companions to remain in their places. He left and returned with water dripping from his head, then led the people in prayer.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا زياد الأعلم عن الحسن
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل في صلاة الفجر فأومأ إلى أصحابه أي مكانكم فذهب وجاء ورأسه يقطر فصلى بالناس
