Laylat al-Qadr was mentioned in the presence of Abu Bakra, and he said, "I will only seek it in the last ten nights, after hearing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Seek it in the last ten nights, on the odd-numbered ones.'"The narrator said, Abu Bakra used to pray during the first twenty nights of Ramadan as he prayed throughout the rest of the year, but when the last ten nights began, he would exert himself in worship.
