The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should say, 'I fasted the whole of Ramadan,' or 'I prayed through the whole of it.'"Hasan said, "My father said," and Yazid once said, "Qatada said, 'Allah knows best whether he feared self-praise for his community, or whether there must inevitably be one who sleeps or is heedless.'"
