The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will surely descend upon a land called Basrah or Buseyrah, situated by a river called Tigris," then he mentioned the rest of the meaning.Awwam said, "The descendants of Qantura are the Turks."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لتنزلن أرضا يقال لها البصرة أو البصيرة على دجلة نهر فذكر معناه قال العوام بنو قنطوراء هم الترك
