An uncle of his named Jariya bin Qudama Saadi reported that he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Messenger of Allah, tell me something that will benefit me, and keep it brief so that I may grasp it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not become angry."He repeated his request several times, and each time the reply was, "Do not become angry."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا هشام عن أبيه
عن عم يقال له جارية بن قدامة السعدي أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله قل لي قولا ينفعني وأقلل علي لعلي أعيه فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تغضب فأعاد عليه مرارا كل ذلك يقول لا تغضب
