I was with Qatada bin Milhan when death was near him, and a man passed by at the far end of the house. I could see that man's reflection in Qatada's face. Whenever I looked at him, it was as though his face were glistening with oil, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had wiped his hand over his face.
