The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a woman of the Ansar, whose name Ibn Abbas mentioned but I have forgotten, "What prevented you from performing Hajj with us this year?"She replied, "Prophet of Allah, we had only two camels for drawing water. The father of so-and-so and his son," meaning her husband and her son, "rode one camel, and he left the other for us to draw water with."The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Ramadan comes, perform Umra during it, for an Umra in it equals a Hajj."
Its isnad is sahih, and it was narrated by the whole group except Tirmidhi, as noted in al-Muntaqa 2359. The one who forgot the woman's name was Ibn Jurayj, because the hadith appears in Muslim 1:357 through his narration, then he narrated it afterward through the route of Habib al-Muallim from Ataa, who named the woman Umm Sinan. See her biography in al-Isabah 8:245, and it will come again in abridged form at 2809, 2810.
