Ibn Abu Mulayka informed me that Ibn Abbas reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "It is as though I am looking at him, a black man with bowed legs, tearing it down stone by stone," meaning the Kaabah.

أخبرني ابن أبي مليكة أن ابن عباس أخبره عن النبي ﷺ قال كأني أنظر إليه أسود أفحج ينقضها حجرا حجرا يعني الكعبة
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 4:318, from Ibn Madini from Yahya. Al-Hafiz said, this is how it appears in all the narrations from Ibn Abbas on this hadith. What seems clear is that something has been omitted from the hadith, and it is possible that it is what occurred in the hadith of Ali as found in Abu Ubayd's Gharib al-Hadith, by way of Abu Aliyah from Ali, who said, "Perform tawaf around this House abundantly before you are cut off from it, for I can already picture a man from Abyssinia, bald, flat-nosed, and thin-legged, sitting upon it while it is being demolished." Fakihi related it by this same route. Yahya Himani also related it in his Musnad by another route from Ali, as a raised hadith (marfu).Afhaj, from fahaj, with fatha on the fa and the ha, ending in jim, meaning a wide gap between the thighs.
