Samura bin Jundab reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not let Bilal's call deceive you, for there is a weakness in his eyesight, nor the whiteness seen at the top of the sky during the late night."

حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثني سوادة قال سمعت

سمرة بن جندب يقول

إن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يغرنكم نداء بلال فإن في بصره سوءا ولا بياض يرى بأعلى السحر
