The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the Eid prayer without an adhan or iqamah.
حدثنا يحيى عن ابن جريج حدثني الحسن بن مسلم عن طاوس
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى العيد بغير أذان ولا إقامة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud (1:445) and Ibn Majah (1:199) both narrated it, each by way of Yahya bin Saeed from Ibn Jurayj. Ibn Abbas has another hadith similar to this with the two Shaykhs, see Muntaqa 1665. It will come at greater length from Ibn Abbas, 2171, 2173, 2574, and from Jabir, 2172.
