Imran bin Husayn reported,

The Prophet ﷺ saw a ring on a man's upper arm. I think he said it was made of brass.He asked, "Woe to you, what is this?"The man replied, "It is for protection from weakness."The Prophet ﷺ said, "It will only increase you in weakness. Throw it away from you, for if you were to die while wearing it, you would never succeed."

أن النبي ﷺ أبصر على عضد رجل حلقة أراه قال من صفر فقال ويحك ما هذه قال من الواهنة قال أما إنها لا تزيدك إلا وهنا انبذها عنك فإنك لو مت وهي عليك ما أفلحت أبدا
