The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Modesty is wholly good," or, "Indeed, modesty is wholly good."Bashir bin Kaab said, "We find in some of the books," or he said, "in wisdom, that part of it is tranquility and dignity for the sake of Allah , and part of it is weakness."So Imran repeated the hadith, and Bashir repeated his comment, until this happened two or three times. Imran became so angry that his eyes turned red, and he said, "I am narrating to you from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and you contradict it with what is in the books?"We said, "Abu Nujayd, he means no harm, he is one of us." We kept reassuring him until he calmed down.
