Imran bin Husayn reported,

A woman from Juhayna came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have committed an offense that requires a prescribed punishment, so carry it out on me." She was pregnant at the time. He instructed that she be treated kindly until she delivered.When she had given birth, she was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ordered that her clothes be tied securely around her, then she was stoned, and afterward he prayed over her.Umar said, "Prophet of Allah, you pray over her when she has committed adultery?"He replied, "She has made such a sincere repentance that, if it were divided among seventy of the people of Madinah, it would be enough for them all. Could you find anything better than her giving up her own life for the sake of Allah ?"

عن عمران بن حصين

أن امرأة من جهينة أتت نبي الله ﷺ فقالت له إني أصبت حدا فأقمه علي وهي حامل فأمر بها أن يحسن إليها حتى تضع فلما وضعت جيء بها إلى رسول الله ﷺ فأمر بها فشكت عليها ثيابها ثم رجمها ثم صلى عليها فقال عمر يا نبي الله تصلي عليها وقد زنت فقال لقد تابت توبة لو قسمت بين سبعين من أهل المدينة لوسعتهم وهل وجدت أفضل من أن جادت بنفسها لله تبارك وتعالى
