Mutarrif reported,

Imran and I prayed behind Ali bin Abu Talib. Whenever he prostrated, he would say the takbir, whenever he rose, he would say the takbir, and whenever he stood up after the second rakah, he would say the takbir.When we finished, Imran bin Husayn took my hand and said, "This man has just led us in a prayer like the prayer of Muhammad ﷺ." Or he said, "This man has just reminded me of the prayer of Muhammad ﷺ."

عن مطرف قال

صليت أنا وعمران خلف علي بن أبي طالب فكان إذا سجد كبر وإذا رفع كبر وإذا نهض من الركعتين كبر فلما انصرفنا أخذ عمران بن الحصين بيدي فقال لقد صلى بنا هذا مثل صلاة محمد ﷺ أو قال لقد ذكرني هذا صلاة محمد ﷺ
