A man was brought up who had freed six slaves at the time of his death and had no other property besides them. The Prophet ﷺ cast lots between them, freeing two and keeping four in slavery.
حدثنا هاشم حدثنا المبارك عن الحسن قال ثنا
أتي برجل أعتق ستة مملوكين عند موته وليس له مال غيرهم فأقرع النبي ﷺ بينهم فأعتق اثنين وأرق أربعة
