Imran bin Husayn reported,

We performed tamattu with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not forbid it to us afterwards, nor did any prohibition concerning it come down from Allah .

حدثنا مؤمل حدثنا حماد أخبرنا حميد عن الحسن

عن عمران بن حصين أنه قال

تمتعنا مع رسول الله ﷺ فلم ينهنا رسول الله ﷺ بعد ذلك عنها ولم ينزل من الله عز وجل فيها نهي
