A man freed six of his slaves at the time of his death, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew lots between them, freeing two and keeping four in slavery.Muhammad bin Sirin said, "Had it not reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said this, I would have considered it my own opinion."
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق أخبرنا حماد بن زيد عن يحيى بن عتيق عن محمد بن سيرين
أن رجلا أعتق ستة أعبد له فأقرع رسول الله ﷺ بينهم فأعتق اثنين وأرق أربعة قال محمد بن سيرين لو لم يبلغني أن رسول الله ﷺ قاله لجعلته رأيي
