Imran bin Husayn reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while on one of his journeys when his companions had become spread out along the route, raised his voice with these two verses, "People, be mindful of your Lord. The earthquake of the Hour is a tremendous thing. On the Day you behold it, every nursing mother will forget" [Hajj 22:1–2], reciting until he reached the end of the two verses.When his companions heard this, they urged their mounts forward, knowing he was about to deliver a statement. When they had gathered around him, he asked, "Do you know what Day that is?"He continued, "That is the Day when Adam will be called. His Lord will call out to him, 'Adam, send forth a delegation to the Fire.'Adam will say, 'My Lord, what is the delegation of the Fire?'He will say, 'Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine to the Fire, and one to the Garden.'"At this his companions were so dismayed that not a smile showed on their faces. Seeing this, he said, "Strive on and rejoice. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, you are alongside two creations such that they have never been joined to anything without making it abundant, Yajuj and Majuj, and those who have perished among the children of Adam and the children of Iblis."Then their distress lifted from them. He said, "Strive on and rejoice. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, among mankind you are but like a mole on the side of a camel, or a mark on the foreleg of a riding beast."

عن عمران بن حصين

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال وهو في بعض أسفاره وقد تفاوت بين أصحابه السير رفع بهاتين الآيتين صوته {يا أيها الناس اتقوا ربكم إن زلزلة الساعة شيء عظيم يوم ترونها تذهل} حتى بلغ آخر الآيتين قال فلما سمع أصحابه بذلك حثوا المطي وعرفوا أنه عند قول يقوله فلما تأشبوا حوله قال أتدرون أي يوم ذاك قال ذاك يوم ينادى آدم فيناديه ربه تبارك وتعالى يا آدم ابعث بعثا إلى النار فيقول يا رب وما بعث النار قال من كل ألف تسع مائة وتسعة وتسعين في النار وواحد في الجنة قال فأبلس أصحابه حتى ما أوضحوا بضاحكة فلما رأى ذلك قال اعملوا وأبشروا فوالذي نفس محمد بيده إنكم لمع خليقتين ما كانتا مع شيء قط إلا كثرتاه يأجوج ومأجوج ومن هلك من بني آدم وبني إبليس قال فأسري عنهم ثم قال اعملوا وأبشروا فوالذي نفس محمد بيده ما أنتم في الناس إلا كالشامة في جنب البعير أو الرقمة في ذراع الدابة
