The Prophet ﷺ ate from a shoulder of meat, then prayed without performing ablution.
حدثنا يحيى عن مالك حدثني زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار
أن النبي ﷺ أكل كتفا ثم صلى ولم يتوضأ
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is in the Muwatta 1:48. Abu Dawud narrated it, 1:75, and Munziri said, Bukhari and Muslim narrated it. It will come again in the Musnad many times, including at 1944, 2002, 2188, 2286, 2289, 2339, 2341, 2406, 2467, 2524, 2545, 2941, 3014, 3108, 3287, 3295, 3312, 3352, 3403, 3433, 3453, 3463.
