I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed before the sermon, then he delivered the sermon. Sensing that the women had not heard him, he went over to them accompanied by Bilal, who was spreading out his garment. He admonished them and commanded them to give in charity, and the women began throwing their offerings into it.Ayub gestured toward his ear and his throat, as if indicating earrings and necklaces.
حدثنا إسماعيل أخبرنا أيوب عن عطاء
أشهد على رسول الله ﷺ أنه صلى قبل الخطبة ثم خطب فيرى أنه لم يسمع النساء فأتاهن ومعه بلال ناشرا ثوبه فوعظهن وأمرهن أن يتصدقن فجعلت المرأة تلقي وأشار أيوب إلى أذنه وإلى حلقه كأنه يريد التومة والقلادة
