Yala bin Munya, or Ibn Umaya, got into a fight with a man, and one of them bit the other's hand. The man whose hand was being bitten pulled it out of the other's mouth, knocking out his front tooth. Hajjaj's version says, his two front teeth.They brought their dispute before the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Does one of you bite his brother the way a stallion bites? There is no compensation for him."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال ثنا شعبة وحجاج قال حدثني شعبة قال سمعت قتادة يحدث عن زرارة بن أوفى قال حجاج في حديثه سمعت زرارة بن أوفى
قاتل يعلى ابن منية أو ابن أمية رجلا فعض أحدهما يد صاحبه فانتزع يده من فيه فانتزع ثنيته وقال حجاج ثنيتيه فاختصما إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يعض أحدكما أخاه كما يعض الفحل لا دية له
