The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the noon prayer, and a man behind him recited Sabbih isma Rabbika al-Ala. When he finished the prayer, he asked, "Which of you recited Sabbih isma Rabbika al-Ala?"A man replied, "I did."He said, "I knew that one of you was contending with me over it."

صلى رسول الله ﷺ الظهر فقرأ رجل خلفه بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى فلما صلى قال أيكم قرأ سبح اسم ربك الأعلى فقال رجل أنا قال قد عرفت أن بعضكم خالجنيها
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Zurara bin Awfa is trustworthy, a devout worshipper, and the judge of Basra, and this passes through frequently.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/298, no. 398, in the Book of Prayer, on the prohibition of the one being led in prayer raising his voice in recitation, and by Abu Dawud, 219/1, no. 828, similarly. And by Nasai, 140/2, no. 918, in the Book of the Opening, on abandoning recitation behind the imam. And by Abdul-Razzaq, 2/136, no. 2799, and Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 18/210, no. 519.
