Abdullah bin Burayda reported,

Ubaydullah bin Ziyad had doubts about the Pond, so he sent for Abu Barza al-Aslami, who came to him. The companions of Ubaydullah said to him, "The governor has summoned you only to ask you about the Pond. Have you heard anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it?"He replied, "Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention it. Whoever denies it, may Allah not give him a drink from it."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن مطر

عن عبد الله بن بريدة الأسلمي قال

شك عبيد الله بن زياد في الحوض فأرسل إلى أبي برزة الأسلمي فأتاه فقال له جلساء عبيد الله إنما أرسل إليك الأمير ليسألك عن الحوض فهل سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ شيئا قال نعم سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يذكره فمن كذب به فلا سقاه الله عز وجل منه
