My father and I went in to see Abu Barza and asked him about the times at which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray.He said, "He would pray Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith, and Asr at a time when a man could return to the farthest part of Madinah while the sun was still bright and lively. As for Maghrib," Sayar said, "I have forgotten what he said about it. He did not mind delaying Isha until a third of the night had passed, and he disliked sleeping before it or conversing after it. He would pray Fajr, after which a man could leave and recognize the face of the person who had been sitting beside him. He would recite in it between sixty and a hundred verses."Sayar said, "I do not know whether that was in one of the two units of prayer or in both of them."

دخلت أنا وأبي على أبي برزة فسألناه عن وقت صلاة رسول الله ﷺ فقال كان يصلي الظهر حين تزول الشمس والعصر يرجع الرجل إلى أقصى المدينة والشمس حية والمغرب قال سيار نسيتها والعشاء لا يبالي بعد تأخيرها إلى ثلث الليل وكان لا يحب النوم قبلها والحديث بعدها وكان يصلي الصبح فينصرف الرجل فيعرف وجه جليسه وكان يقرأ فيها ما بين الستين إلى المائة قال سيار لا أدري في إحدى الركعتين أو في كلتيهما
