I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Messenger of Allah, direct me to some deed that I may do."He replied, "Clear the harmful things from the road, for that will be a charity for you."
وقلت لرسول الله ﷺ يا رسول الله مرني بعمل أعمله فقال أمط الأذى عن الطريق فهو لك صدقة
Its isnad is sahih, and Shaddad bin Saeed is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Muslim and the four Sunan, and the hadith combines 19669 and 19681.
