The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man to one of the Arab tribes, but they beat him and insulted him. He returned to the Prophet ﷺ and complained about what had happened. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Had you come to the people of Oman, they would not have beaten you nor insulted you."
حدثنا عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث حدثنا مهدي بن ميمون حدثنا جابر أبو الوازع قال سمعت
بعث رسول الله ﷺ رجلا إلى حي من أحياء العرب فضربوه وسبوه فرجع إلى النبي ﷺ فشكا ذلك إليه فقال له النبي ﷺ لو أهل عمان أتيت ما ضربوك ولا سبوك
Its isnad is sahih. Mahdi bin Maymun is trustworthy, his hadith being recorded by the Group. Abul-Wazi Rasibi is Jabir bin Amr, trustworthy, his hadith being recorded by Muslim, as mentioned shortly before. The hadith appears in Muslim, 4/1977, no. 2544, in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions, the chapter on the virtues of the people of Oman.
