Abu Musa Ashari reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The deceased is tormented by the weeping of the living over him. When the wailing woman cries, 'Oh, my support! Oh, my helper! Oh, my provider!' the deceased is jerked, and it is said to him, 'Are you her support? Are you her helper? Are you her provider?'"I said, "Glory be to Allah! Allah says, "No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another" [Anam 6:164]."He said, "Woe to you! I narrate to you from Abu Musa, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and you say this? So which of us has lied? By Allah, I have not lied against Abu Musa, nor has Abu Musa lied against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

حدثنا أبو عامر قال ثنا زهير عن أسيد بن أبي أسيد

عن موسى بن أبي موسى الأشعري عن أبيه

أن النبي ﷺ قال الميت يعذب ببكاء الحي عليه إذا قالت النائحة واعضداه واناصراه واكاسباه جبذ الميت وقيل له أنت عضدها أنت ناصرها أنت كاسبها فقلت سبحان الله يقول الله عز وجل {ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى} فقال ويحك أحدثك عن أبي موسى عن رسول الله ﷺ وتقول هذا فأينا كذب فوالله ما كذبت على أبي موسى ولا كذب أبو موسى على رسول الله ﷺ
