The people began ascending a mountain pass, and whenever a man climbed up it he would call out, "There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the greatest." The Prophet ﷺ was riding a mule, guiding it along the line of horsemen.He said, "People, you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent."Then he said, "Abu Musa," or, "Abdullah bin Qays, shall I direct you to one of the treasures of Paradise?"I said, "Yes, please."He said, "There is no power and no strength except with Allah."
حدثنا يحيى عن التيمي عن أبي عثمان
أخذ القوم في عقبة أو ثنية فكلما علا رجل عليها نادى لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر والنبي ﷺ على بغلة يعرضها في الخيل فقال يا أيها الناس إنكم لا تدعون أصم ولا غائبا ثم قال يا أبا موسى أو يا عبد الله بن قيس ألا أدلك على كنز من كنوز الجنة قال قلت بلى قال لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
