Abu Musa Ashari reported,

From the Prophet ﷺ. My father said, Hawdhah also narrated this to us, saying, Awf narrated to us from Qasamah, who said, I heard al-Ashari say, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah created Adam from a handful which He took from all of the earth, so the children of Adam came forth corresponding to the earth. Among them are the red, the white, and the black, and shades in between. Among them are the gentle and the rough, and shades in between. Among them are the wicked and the good, and shades in between."

عن النبي ﷺ قال أبي و حدثناه هوذة حدثنا عوف عن قسامة قال سمعت الأشعري يقول قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله عز وجل خلق آدم من قبضة قبضها من جميع الأرض فجاء بنو آدم على قدر الأرض جعل منهم الأحمر والأبيض والأسود وبين ذلك والسهل والحزن وبين ذلك والخبيث والطيب وبين ذلك
