The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned aside to a soft patch of ground beside a wall and urinated.Shuba said, I asked Abu Tayyah, "Was he sitting?"He replied, "I do not know."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Children of Israil, when urine touched them, would cut off the affected part with scissors. So when one of you urinates, let him seek out a suitable spot for it."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا شعبة حدثنا أبو التياح عن شيخ لهم
مال رسول الله ﷺ إلى دمث إلى جنب حائط فبال قال شعبة فقلت لأبى التياح جالسا قال لا أدري قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن بني إسرائيل كانوا إذا أصابهم البول قرضوه بالمقاريض فإذا بال أحدكم فليرتد لبوله

Its isnad is daif, because the narrator from Abu Musa is unknown, and it has previously been mentioned as sahih. It is likewise found in Hakim 1/184, and Dhahabi agreed with him, and it has previously appeared at 19429.
