Abu Musa fell unconscious, and his family began weeping over him. When he came to, he said, "I disassociate myself from those whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ disassociated himself from, those who shave their heads, tear their clothes, or wail loudly in grief."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة عن عوف عن خالد الأحدب
أغمي على أبي موسى فبكوا عليه فأفاق فقال إني أبرأ إليكم ممن برئ منه رسول الله ﷺ ممن حلق أو خرق أو سلق
Its isnad is sahih. Awf is Ibn Abu Jamilah al-Arabi, and he is trustworthy. Khalid al-Ahdab is Ibn Abdullah bin Mihraz, and he is trustworthy, his hadith being found in Muslim, and he narrates from his uncle Safwan bin Mihraz. He is among the trustworthy Followers, and his hadith is in the Sahihayn. The hadith is like the one before it.
