Abu Musa Ashari reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The gates of Paradise lie beneath the shade of swords."A man of shabby appearance from among the people stood up and asked, "Abu Musa, did you yourself hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "Yes."The man then returned to his companions and said, "I bid you peace." He broke the sheath of his sword and threw it away, then advanced with his sword and fought with it until he was killed.

عن أبي بكر بن عبد الله بن قيس قال سمعت أبي وهو بحضرة العدو يقول

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن أبواب الجنة تحت ظلال السيوف قال فقام رجل من القوم رث الهيئة فقال يا أبا موسى آنت سمعت هذا من رسول الله ﷺ قال نعم قال فرجع إلى أصحابه فقال أقرأ عليكم السلام ثم كسر جفن سيفه فألقاه ثم مشى بسيفه فضرب به حتى قتل
