A tall black man narrated to me, and Abu Tayah began to describe him, that he came with Ibn Abbas to Basra. Ibn Abbas wrote to Abu Musa, and Abu Musa wrote back to him saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking when he turned aside to soft ground beside a wall and urinated.Then he said, "When one of the children of Israil urinated and any of his urine touched him, he would cut off that part with scissors."He also said, "When one of you wishes to urinate, let him seek out a suitable spot for it."

حدثني رجل أسود طويل قال جعل أبو التياح ينعته أنه قدم مع ابن عباس البصرة فكتب إلى أبي موسى فكتب إليه أبو موسى أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يمشي فمال إلى دمث في جنب حائط فبال ثم قال كان بنو إسرائيل إذا بال أحدهم فأصابه شيء من بوله يتبعه فقرضه بالمقاريض وقال إذا أراد أحدكم أن يبول فليرتد لبوله

Its isnad is daif due to the anonymity of the narrator from Abu Musa. The hadith with similar wording was narrated by Bukhari 1/329 in the chapter on wudu, on urinating near a people's rubbish heap, and by Muslim 1/228, no. 273, and Nasai 1/26, and Ibn Majah 1/124, no. 346, all of them in the chapter on purification.
