The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every Muslim must give charity."Someone asked, "What if he finds nothing to give?"He replied, "Let him work with his hands to benefit himself and give in charity."The man asked, "What if he cannot do that?"He said, "Then let him help someone in distress and need."The man asked, "What if he cannot do that either?"He said, "Then let him enjoin what is good, or what is just."The man asked, "What if he cannot do that?"He said, "Then let him refrain from evil, for that itself is charity for him."
