Abu Musa Ashari reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and said four things. He said, "Indeed, Allah does not sleep, nor does it befit Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and raises it. The deeds of the night are raised to Him before the day, and the deeds of the day before the night."

حدثنا عبد الرحمن وابن جعفر قالا ثنا شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي عبيدة

عن أبي موسى قال

قام فينا رسول الله ﷺ بأربع فقال إن الله عز وجل لا ينام ولا ينبغي له أن ينام يخفض القسط ويرفعه يرفع إليه عمل الليل بالنهار وعمل النهار بالليل
