The Messenger of Allah ﷺ named for us several names of his own, some of which we memorized. He said, "I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and al-Muqaffi, and al-Hashir, and the Prophet of Mercy."Yazid added, "and the Prophet of Repentance, and the Prophet of Battle."
حدثنا وكيع عن المسعودي ويزيد قال أنبأنا المسعودي عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي عبيدة
سمى لنا رسول الله ﷺ نفسه أسماء منها ما حفظنا فقال أنا محمد وأحمد والمقفي والحاشر ونبي الرحمة قال يزيد ونبي التوبة ونبي الملحمة
