Ubaydullah bin Ziyad had doubts about the Pond, so he sent for Zayd bin Arqam and asked him about it. Zayd related to him an eloquent account that pleased him.Ubaydullah asked him, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"Zayd replied, "No, but my brother related it to me."
