We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say regarding currency exchange, "If it is hand to hand, there is no harm in it, but if it is on credit, it is not permissible."
حدثنا روح حدثنا ابن جريج أخبرنا حسن بن مسلم عن أبي المنهال ولم يسمعه منه أنه
سمعنا رسول الله ﷺ يقول في الصرف إذا كان يدا بيد فلا بأس إذا كان دينا فلا يصلح
