Jareer reported,

I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I pledge allegiance to you upon Islam." He withheld his hand and said, "And sincere counsel to every Muslim." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

عن جرير قال

أتيت رسول الله ﷺ فقلت أبايعك على الإسلام فقبض يده وقال النصح لكل مسلم ثم قال رسول الله ﷺ إنه من لم يرحم الناس لم يرحمه الله عز وجل
